However, imports of vegetable oils fell by 6.6 per cent, alcoholic and soft drinks - by 4,9 percent.
Among the products of the chemical industry increased imports of organic and inorganic chemistry at 24.0 per cent of pharmaceutical products - by 17.1 percent, polymers and rubber - by 4,7 per cent of perfumery and cosmetics - by 2.3 per cent. While the value of the supply of soap and detergents decreased by 3,9 percent.
Imports of textiles and footwear increased due to growth in shipments of footwear to 14.2 percent, textile clothing - at 7.5 percent, knitted garments - at 6.0 percent, textile materials and finished textile products - 3,6 cent, chemical fibers - at 3.1 percent. At the same time in December 2009 compared to the previous month, the value of the procurement knitted declined by 7.8 percent, chemical fiber - at 7.4 per cent, cotton - by 3,1 percent.
In the import of engineering products recorded an increase in procurement of instruments and optical devices to 35.7 per cent, railway locomotives - at 17.0 per cent, mechanical equipment - 16.8 per cent of aircraft - 5,6 percent. In this case the purchase of electrical equipment in December 2009 remained practically at the level of November 2009. However, imports of ground transport fell by 1.7 per cent.

This decrease relates primarily to a decrease in the procurement of engineering products at 26.2 percent, as well as textiles and footwear - by 20.4 percent. At the same time reported an increase in imports of chemical products by 9,8 percent, while the value of imports of foodstuffs and raw materials for their production in December 2009, virtually unchanged compared to the figure for December 2008.
