The Iranian side expressed interest in Russia”s oil and gas production technologies, processing of hydrocarbons, of marine exploration and research wells, the report said the Energy Ministry. “We have good results, and we must continue to work. We have great opportunities for interaction - both in traditional areas and in the use of innovative technologies”, - said Nogrekar Shirazi.
The Iranian side expressed its readiness to participate in the St. Petersburg Petroleum Exchange. “We have a positive view of the St. Petersburg oil market and are ready to cooperate with it. The volume of oil produced daily by Russia and Iran”s oil is 15 million barrels. If you engage other friendly countries, it is possible to bring the volume to 50 million barrels per day. If we want to successfully perform, must be stable on their feet, “- said Shirazi.
The parties intend in the near future more specific projects, which will include a “road map” energy cooperation between the two countries. “The meeting - an important stage in the development of our dialogue. In the near future we will finalize the map and begin to solve practical problems”, - said Vladimir Azbukin.
From 2000 to 2009 in a bilateral Russo-Iranian trade, the trend toward growth in turnover. This cooperation between Russia and Iran in the energy sector is one of the priority areas of cooperation between the two countries, noted in the report the Ministry of Energy.
