From February 1, 2010 CBR produces a new commemorative coins made of precious metals on the 150 anniversary of the Bank of Russia. According to Department of External and Public Relations of the Bank of Russia, the series will include a silver coin face value of 3 rubles (the weight of the precious metal in 31,1 g sample of the alloy 925), a silver coin of 25 rubles (the mass of precious metal in cleanliness 155,5 g sample of alloy 925), a gold coin 50 rubles (the mass of precious metal in the purity of 7.78 g sample of 999) and a gold coin 50 thousand rubles (weight of the precious metal in the purity of 5 kg sample of 999).

On the reverse side of the coins are:

- silver coins valued at 25 rubles - a relief image facade of Bank of Russia in Moscow, there are inscriptions: at the top of the circle was founded in 1860, “at the bottom in two lines -” THE BANK OF RUSSIA “;
