He believes that a big mistake this year was the lack of state budget funds for housing loans for young people. He stressed that the government program consists of two parts: the credit and compensation rate. In this context, V. Yushchenko reminded that the program was to grow every year thanks to such compensation. We have to understand one thing: if you read the policy of reimbursement of interest rates, the program must annually have its content … the program should be seamless and the landmark for all governments, regardless of color, and names, - underlined the President. Lack of funds in the budget-2009 to these needs, he called the wrong policies, no explanation.
At the same time, the head of state expressed hope that in the near future this issue will be resolved. I expect that in the coming weeks will be adopted by the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports, which is to allocate 300 million UAH for large families who are raising 6 children, and more. Also, for a youth building will be allocated 100 million UAH under changes to the budget - said the President.
He added that the initiative of the Ministry is likely to be provided for an additional 50 million UAH of compensation rate. My position, my instructions from the Government - in 2009 to ensure hundred percent payments to 17 thousand young families who are in need of such compensation, - said the President.
